At Donorbox, we currently support Stripe and PayPal as payment processors. You can connect either one or both to your account. While many organizations choose to connect both, it's not required - your donations will always be processed securely through whichever option you set up.
Connecting both Stripe and PayPal gives your donors the widest range of payment methods. If you prefer to use only one processor, Stripe is often the best choice because it allows donors to enter their card details directly on your form without needing to create a Stripe account. Stripe also supports ACH direct debit (for U.S.-based organizations), Apple Pay, and Google Pay, which PayPal does not offer.
PayPal availability may vary by country or region. Some donors may be required to log in or create a PayPal account, depending on local PayPal rules.
