How to Edit the Text on the Donate Button

The default text on a Donorbox donate button says "Donate". But this text can be edited to a customized call to action. To customize the text, please follow the following steps:

Step 1

Log into your Donorbox dashboard. From the Campaigns page, find the campaign of the button that you want to customize. Then, click the '<> Embed Codes' button, as shown here:

Step 2

From the 'Donate Button' tab, please go to the code block and edit the word “Donate” that appears at the very end of the code, just before the </a> tag. Enter your custom text to replace it.

It is very important that you don’t make any other edits to the code because it may end up not working correctly.

Step 3

Copy the entire contents of the code block and paste it wherever you want this button to appear. If you already have a previous button, you need to delete that old code and replace it with this new code.

The new button with the custom call-to-action will now appear in your website.
