With contact collection Forms, organizations can easily implement embeddable registration forms to collect supporter details without needing donations.
These forms help grow email marketing audiences and gradually gather contact info, like phone numbers and mailing addresses, for future outreach.
Additionally, new contacts can be linked to their original sign-up method, sorted into Lists, and integrated into larger campaigns and automated processes.
This guide explains how to create a new collection Form.
Step 1
Go to your Donorbox dashboard, open the Engage section, and choose "Forms."
Then click on "+ New Form."
On the next screen, please provide the following details:
1- Form name
2- Description (optional)
3- Choose your language for the form.
4- Choose whether you wish to make a dynamic list of the contacts submitted through this form.
Click on "Next."
Step 2 - Design Form
1. Form Title (Optional): Enter a title for your form, which will be visible to your donors.
2. Form Body (Optional): Add a message or description to share with your supporters.
Choose the visitor details you would like to collect. Email and Name are required by default and are preselected for every form.
Address and phone number fields are optional. To make either of these fields mandatory, enable the option and check the corresponding box under "Required".
Click on "Next."
Step 3 - Appearance
1 - Set the Button Text: Locate the "Button Text" field and type in the word or phrase you want your supporters to see on the submission button (e.g., "Subscribe").
2 - Choose the Button Color: Under "Button Color," enter the hex color code for your desired button color (e.g., "#f70059") or use the color picker to select one that matches your organization's branding.
3. Choose a Title for your "Thank You" message (optional)
4. Type your message (optional)
Click on "Next" to preview your form.
Step 4 - Preview your form
Your form is ready! Please review all details to make sure everything looks right, then click "Save" to finalize your form.
