If you prefer not using Zapier to connect your donation data to QuickBooks, there are other ways to connect your Stripe and PayPal data to QuickBooks.
Connecting Stripe data to QuickBooks
There are 2 options to connect your Stripe data to QuickBooks.
Option 1 — The easiest option is to use CommerceSync, a cost-effective app that sends data daily from your Stripe account to QuickBooks. You can learn more about it here.
Option 2 — This option takes 2 steps. First, export your data from Stripe. Then import it directly into QuickBooks under the relevant data feed, as shown below.
It's important to know that *.iif files (from the Stripe Data page) don't work in QuickBooks Online. They will only work in the desktop version of QuickBooks. QuickBooks Online accepts mainly CSV, QFX, QBO, OFX files (and MS Excel files in certain cases).
Please be aware that some formatting and mapping might be required when importing these files.
Connecting PayPal data to QuickBooks
There is a free app for QuickBooks Online called Connect to PayPal. It imports all your PayPal transactions into QuickBooks. Simply install this app and you're all set. Here is a helpful tutorial to help get you connected and to guide you through the app.
