If you wish to move your Organization away from Donorbox, please know that closing your account is not mandatory. You can archive your campaigns (which will disable your donation forms) and cancel any active integrations/add-ons to ensure no charges are made to your organization's account.
As long as you receive no donations and no integrations/add-ons are enabled, no charges will be generated. You can find our guide on archiving campaigns here, and you can cancel each integration/add-on on its specific page from your organization's account Dashboard.
To close your account, go to your Account settings page. Here, you'll need to scroll to the bottom and see the 'Other' tab. You'll find the "Close Account" button at the bottom of this page:
Once you click on "Close Account", you'll be asked to enter your password to confirm, and then click the 'Close Account' Button.

To close your Donorbox account, the account must be in good standing. Accounts with outstanding balances cannot be closed.
Once an organization's account is closed, the following actions are permanent:
- Data Loss: You will lose access to all donor records, donation history, and reporting data.
- Campaign Deletion: All active campaigns will be archived and deactivated.
- Recurring Plans: All active recurring donation plans will be immediately canceled.
Please ensure you have exported any necessary data for your records before proceeding.
