Donorbox can send automated emails to honorees for donations that have been made in honor/in memory of someone.
Here's how you can enable this feature.
Step 1:
Go to the Campaigns page. Then, click the “Edit Campaign” button on the campaign that you want to enable the In Honor/In Memory Of feature on.
Step 2:
On the campaign editor page, click on the "Edit Form" drop-down button and select Tributes from the provided option.
Step 3:
On the following page, you can enable tribute donations by clicking the toggle button next to Enable tribute donations on the left-hand pane.
Step 4:
After this option is enabled, you will be presented with further options collect the recipients info, email address, and postal address and send automated in honor/memory emails.
Simply click on the toggle button by any of these options to enable them.
Step 5:
Use the email editor to customize the subject line and body of the email that will be sent out to tribute recipients. Variables can also be used to customize the email.
Click the "Save and Preview" button at the bottom of the screen when you're done to save your changes.
Note: Currently, your Donorbox account doesn't have an option to resend this notification. If you want to confirm the notification status, you can contact our Donorbox support team at support@donorbox.org. Our support team can check whether or not the email was delivered.
