Donorbox has the ability to send automated emails to honorees for donations that have been made in honor/in memory of someone.
Here's how you can enable this feature.
Step 1
Go to the Campaigns page. Then, click the “Edit” icon next to the campaign form that you want to enable the In Honor/In Memory Of feature on.
Go to the Donation Desigantion/Reason tab.
Enable the toggle labeled Enable tribute donations on the left-hand pane.
Step 2
To automatically send email notifications, enable the toggle option “Send automated in honor/memory email”, as shown below:
Step 3
Use the email editor to customize the subject line and body of the email that will be sent out. Variables can also be used to customize the email. Hit the 'Update' button when you're done.
