Donation designations enable your donors to tell you how they want their donations to be used by your organization.
For example, an organization may offer three programs that donors may designate their gifts for - their homeless shelter, their food pantry, and their rehab services. When a donor donates, they can choose to designate their funds to one of these programs.
To add donation designations on your Live campaign, you need to do the following:
Step 1:
On your In-Person Campaigns page, click the "Edit" icon on your desired live campaign.
Step 2:
Click on "Donation Designations."
Step 3:
Toggle the option to enable donation designations and you can make designations a mandatory step if you'd prefer. Now add your label and designations list. Don't forget to click "Save Changes" when you're done.
You can add as many designations as you'd like, but your donor will have to choose only one. If you make this step mandatory, your donor will not be able to skip this, so they will have to make a selection before moving forward. However, if it is not mandatory, the donor can skip this part.
