How do I launch the Donor View on my tablet?

Once you've configured Donorbox Live, you can launch the Donor View. Have your Stripe Terminal card reader near your device, then tap "Launch Application" to open the Donor View. 

The app will ask for permission to use your device's location (so that Stripe can confirm it matches its configurations) and to connect to nearby devices over Bluetooth to automatically pair with your card reader.

Once permissions are granted, the initialization process will start.

The app will alert you if some permissions mentioned above are not available. If that happens, exit the app, go to your Settings and find the App Permissions for Donorbox Live, and manually allow the requested permissions.

If you continue to experience any issues, restart the app by going to the multitasking view of your device (swipe upwards from the bottom and hold, or press the Multitasking button), closing the app, and then relaunching it. 

Once the app has finished the initialization, it will display the Donor View.

Note: if this is the first time connecting a Stripe Terminal reader, a firmware update may be required. Our app will display the progress as it goes. The update may take several minutes.

The progress may be slower in the first 30% due to limitations of the Bluetooth protocol. After that mark, the update will be quicker.

Please ensure you keep the tablet awake and don’t interfere with the devices.
