How do I set up Donorbox Live in my account?

Step 1

First, you'll need to sign in to Donorbox.

If you don't already have an account, you can sign up for free here.

Step 2

If you haven't already, make sure you've connected a Stripe account to Donorbox. If you need to, you can connect your Stripe account to Donorbox on your payment methods page.

Step 3

Activate the Donorbox Live add-on under Integrations & Add-ons in your Donorbox account.

Note: You must add your Tax ID/EIN/ABN and your organization’s address to Donorbox on your Nonprofit Info page.

Click the Activate Donorbox Live button to enable this feature.

Step 4

Create a Live campaign on Donorbox. Click 'Fundraise', then select 'Live Campaigns' to get started.

Select "Create New Campaign" to set up a new live campaign for your giving kiosk.

Next, name your campaign and select the currency. You should add 4 suggested donation amounts to your campaign.

Once your campaign is ready, click the "Create live campaign" button, and your live campaign for your giving kiosk will be ready to use!

Step 5

Next, you'll need to download the Donorbox Live Kiosk app on your Android tablet. You can download the Donorbox Live Kiosk app for Android here.

Note: Please make sure that your Android tablet is version 6 or later.

Once you've downloaded the app, you can log in to Donorbox Live using your Donorbox account.

Select the live campaign you created on Donorbox.

Check all of your settings, including the currency and the suggested ask amounts you selected. 

Step 6

Next, turn on your Stripe M2 or WisePad3 card reader device and keep it near your tablet.

Step 7

And finally, click "Launch Application" on your Donorbox Live Kiosk app. It will automatically pair with your card reader device and launch the donor view so you can begin accepting cashless donations.

Once the connection is successful, your supporters can begin making in-person donations.
